When the Bolshevik party came to power they made the country communist. They establish there leadership under the council of commissars. The main leaders were Lenin, Leon Trotsky, and Joseph Stalin. They redistributed land equally, nationalized all banks. All private accounts were confiscated. foreign trade was a state monopoly and then all opposition groups were made illegal. They then formed a counter revolution committee.
